attention residue
- one of the biggest benefits of meditation is noticing attention residue
- after a lot of meditating, i can see it more clearly. when you have a thought, it leaves behind an emotional residue that's good or bad and it leads you to do things.
- for example, maybe i had a conversation with a friend and i disagreed with them. sometimes i'll feel the emotional residue left from that - not too strongly, but enough that i know there's an irritation on my mental landscape.
