do what makes you come alive

i love the advice Heidi Priebe gives for ENFPs in this video:

she makes a lot of wise points, but what i want to remember most is that for ENFPs, or at least for some set of people, what to do comes not from pragmatism, but from what excites you, what makes you come alive.

as i've grown older, i'm realizing this is the compass for me.

i read this quote first at 19, and i'm relating to it all over again at 25:

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
