emotions are action signals
emotions are useful signals. generally my response and the typical response is to overreact to them. but they do provide information.
- take the information.
- breathe. let go.
- reflect on the emotion, not too much, but not too little.
- sometimes, act.
simple. but a lot of our neuroses come from not following this.
a lot of the time, we don't act when we should, and act when we shouldn't; we reflect too much, or not at all; we don't breathe.
