no ifs, ands, or buts
IMO how to get a habit to stick: for 3 weeks, do the habit no matter what.
when you face Resistance, remind yourself “no ifs, ands, or buts about it.” absolutely no excuses.
eventually it’ll be automatic and you can be a bit more loose about it.
for example, i’m attempting a morning workout habit for like the 100th time. i wake up and don’t want to go to the gym, but i remind myself “no ifs, ands, or buts” and i’m able to not fall for the excuses my brain comes up with to sleep in.
anyway, fingers crossed that this time o succeed🤞
